The first question that I asked was to ensure that the audience felt that my initial idea would fit the brief and I was very happy as the responses showed that 100% said they would listen to a radio show based on conspiracy theories.
The next question i asked was if they thought the radio show should be a more chatty and friendly debate, or take a scientific and serious approach. 88% of responses suggested that it should be more of a light hearted debate, whereas 12% said it should be more scientific and serious. Using these responses, the overall genre of the chat show will be more of a debate - style, whilst ensuring to include some facts and statistics.
I then asked whether or not they thought the topic of conspiracy theories would be suitable for a demographic of 16-25 year old who where also middle class. The response was very positive with 100% of people voting that it would be a suitable idea and would fi that demographic. This gave me confidence which allowed me to proceed with my ideas.
The next two questions I asked were to gain suggestions on both the name of the chat show and enquired to whether it should be focused solely on the topic of conspiracy theories or to branch out in to other areas. The overall response was to make conspiracy theories the main focus and perhaps try and bring in a news segment or create links with how these theories can affect society.
